ISF back up and running with new team at helm.
The ISF is finally back up and running after a long time when very little has happened in the world of international sport.
Chief executive Thanos Papadopoulos resumes his role from 1st April with a remit to further increase membership levels and add new tournaments to the roster.
Thanos will be working closely with ISF and Leisure Leagues Executive Tom Nash, to form a powerful combination to cement the ISF standing as the world’s governing body for small sided football.
Thanos said “I am really excited to be back working again and I will be looking to strengthen our communications with members across the world as well as add new tournaments to our already established World Cup. We are unique in that we can offer the very highest level of our sport, in our ISF soccer brand, and we cater for the millions of players at the grassroots level in our Leisure Leagues brand, which offers a platform to countries not only to get people playing at the low level, but also as a business model for countries financial benefit”.
Tom Nash said, “Although Thanos hasn’t been able to do very much during this pandemic, our members should know that our team in the UK, and myself, have been working really hard behind the scenes and we will be making some important announcements over the next few days about tournaments coming up. Rest assured, it’s going to be an exciting time for everyone in the Socca and Leisure Leagues family and we are continuing to invest heavily in our products and tournaments”.
