Freddie is from Cambridge and is currently studying Sports Journalism at the University of South Wales in Cardiff. Having played football at grassroots and county level in Cambridgeshire, he currently turns out in the 6 a side leisure league at the USW sports park. Freddie joins the Wales Media team whilst covering sports weekly for the University of South Wales, and has been a voice within his boyhood football club, Cambridge United. He has also helped to produce an ongoing sports podcast with his university course mates. With his German heritage he looks forward to covering the squad at World Cup in Essen.
