The worldwide socca family came together for a week long celebration of our great sport last month, as the unique atmosphere that only this most inclusive of sports can create was shown again.
Six days of colour, action, friendship and skill came and went in a blur.
Photographers from around the world were there at all times to capture the moments, and not just the goals.
Where else could you see people from every continent coming together? People proposing marriage and a screamer of a volley?
It could only be Socca, and it could only be the excitement that a world cup could bring and all the while with the beautiful city of Lisbon providing the gorgeous backdrop.
